About me
Rachel is a Research Scientist with the Ka Moamoa Lab and a User Experience consultant with ‘Ulu Lahui, with expertise in educational technology and community-based design, and a MS in Human-Computer Interaction from Georgia Tech. With 5+ years co-designing with communities, she has guided the design of community-facing tools and place-based educational technology in Hawai‘i. She approaches design with a focus on intersectionality, cultural humility, and an understanding of systemic barriers.
